Company Monus is a renowned manufacturer of Fast and Monus cigarettes, which are synonymous of one of the most famous Serbian brands in the entire tobacco industry.
Monus was founded in 1993. Initially, it was engaged in wholesale trade in consumable goods and in 1999 a strategic decision was made on the new development program and investment in the tobacco industry.
Brands included in our portfolio are the result of a combination of a creative vision and energy of the management as well as the experience of outstanding technologists.
Company Monus continuously improves and modernizes the existing brands, as well as the creative solutions for new brands of cigarettes and packaging.
Some of our globally known brands are FAST, MONUS, DE SANTIS, NERO, FLOYD.
In addition to the above, we are constantly working on the development of new brands like EAST, HAPPY and others.
Fast, as the first brand, was marketed in 2001 and was originally manufactured in cigarette factories in Niš, Vranje and Podgorica.
With the creative and quality business strategy, the brand Fast became the best-selling cigarette in the market of Serbia and Montenegro in 2002, which contributed to the decision to build our own factory that still exists in Inđija. The manufacture started in 2005.
Today, Monus has one of the most modern factories in the Balkans, which covers over 22,000 square meters, of which the production plant covers 13,010 square meters, and the finished product warehouse and the tobacco store covers 7,236 square meters.
A factory that is fully automated, with six production lines and wide technical and technological capabilities. The capacity of each individual line is 10,000 cigarettes per minute.
The company is in possession of ISO 9001: 2008 certificate issued by SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance), the world's largest certification company. In addition, Monus is the only tobacco company in Serbia that has been in possession of a Certificate of Accreditation of the Laboratory for Tobacco and Tobacco Products (ISO 17025), issued by the ATS (Accreditation Body of Serbia) since June 2009.
Monus's strategic orientation is focused on expanding its operations beyond the borders of our country's territory, opening up new markets and increasing its participation in existing markets.
Monus achieved cooperation and exported its brands into domestic markets in the CEFTA region: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Duty Free in Europe, Duty Free in Africa and Duty free in the Middle East.
